Join us for a roundtable discussion in Fall 2008!

We are a group of active women investors and business academics who are organizing a one-day conference at Simmons College in April for a select group of women to meet, network and learn about the variety of investment opportunities that may appropriate for their individual portfolio now or into the future. This event builds upon the success of our first event on portfolio, hedge, and angel investing that was held last June 2007 at Babson College.

You and your friends are invited into our network to learn about the power of women investors! This Spring workshop is dedicated to a focused discussion on angel investing. This is not a sales presentation but a learning and networking opportunity. We’d like you to “save the date” to join us sometime during the Fall of 2008.

Learn About Angel Investing
An angel investor is an individual who provides capital to one or more startup companies by themselves, or as part of angel investing group. Boston is rich in angel investing activity and we would like more women to understand what is involved and how to become engaged.

We know that women tend not to invest in angel funds; and we know women-led entrepreneurial companies less often receive equity investments. We want to be part of changing this picture.

We are inviting women who have the tolerance, means and appetite for investing to join us during the Fall of 2008.

We welcome those who are ready to consider investing and those who within five years would be interested in expanding their portfolio of investments to include alternative asset types. We also want to find women who want to leverage their business skills and experience.
